Information for Tutors
- The SPRING 2009 End of the Semester Tutor Party will be on Thursday, May 21, 2009 from 12-3:00 p.m. Please bring a snack to share and enjoy some fun and relaxation before finals. CRLA certificates will be awarded at this time.
- New tutors, make sure all your assignments are in before May 8, 2009 to assure you receive credit for the training class
- "Blue sheets" are to be filled in for one week only . Please turn in your "blue sheet" on your last day of tutoring for the week. Make sure you keep up with this and do not turn them all in at the end of the month.
- White board pens are not provided by the school at this point. Please purchase your own and keep them with you to guarantee their availability at your tutoring sessions. If you would like to purchase a pen for $1, please see Pauline or Cheri.
- There is a selection of textbooks available for tutors to borrow while in the Center (they may not be taken home). These are located on the bookshelf in room B. Please return them at the end of your tutoring session
- Due to budget concerns this semester, tutors will be often be asked to work with groups of 2 or more (from the same class, always the same subject like 42a or math 65). You will be paid at the same rate as for one student. When filling out your blue slip, please list both names and bracket them with 1 hour. Thank you!
