RSVP and Ticket Information
Graduation invitation packets were mailed April 29, 2009. If a graduate has not received, please contact Kit.
The Las Positas College 2009 Commencement will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009 in the Physical Education Complex. Due to limited seating space in the Physical Education complex, each graduate will be allotted up to four (4) tickets for family and friends to attend the ceremony.
To accommodate family and friends without tickets, additional, yet limited, seating will be available in the Multi-Disciplinary Building (2400) in Rooms 2401, 2420, 2480 and 2490 to view the ceremony live.
Commencement Participation Process:
- Commencement guest tickets will be available for pick up outside the Counseling Office (Building 700) on the following dates:
- Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- To obtain tickets, complete and return the RSVP form (included in the mailed out graduation packet) in person during the above noted dates to Building 700.
- Graduate must present photo ID to pick up guest tickets or must provide a signed letter authorizing another party to pick up tickets for them. NOTE: Tickets will not be mailed.
- The deadline to pick up guest tickets is Thursday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m.. Graduates who miss the deadline must contact the Graduation Coordinator, Karen Kit by calling (925) 424-1406 or email kkit@laspositascollege.edu.
- Guests with Special Needs: If you have a guest with a physical disability or medical condition that requires special seating, please contact Karen Kit prior to Friday, May 29 for seating arrangements.
