Applied Technology provides the skills needed to work in engineering and manufacturing companies in a variety of jobs. You can work "hands-on" on the manufacturing line or use your analytical skills as a designer or safety expert.
The Las Positas College advisory board boasts representatives from companies such as Bechtel, Kier and Wright Engineers, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, Snap-on Tools, and Varian.
