DSPS, EOPS, FINANCIAL AID, VETERAN’S AID - BUILDING 1500
- DSPS: Disabled Students Programs and Services is for students with physical and learning disabilities. They offer a class that can test students to see if they have a disability, and offer help to those who have test anxiety, ADHD, and dyslexia.
- EOPS: Extended Opportunities Programs and Services assist low-income and educationally disadvantaged students (low-income and first in their family to attend college). Students must fill out FAFSA form and qualify for Financial Aid.
- Financial Aid: Students can fill out FAFSA, get info. on scholarships, and get info. on financial assistance for their education.
- Veteran’s Aid: For students who have served in the armed forces- they need to get a Veteran’s Evaluation from counseling
INTEGRATED LEARNING CENTER BUILDING 1200
- Assistance with English, math, and ESL
- Students can get help with essays, research papers, college application personal statements, and any work of writing.
TUTORIAL CENTER BUILDING 1000
- Assessment testing and orientations
- FREE Tutoring for all subjects- two hours per week per class, some instructors hold office hours in the T.C.
BOOKSTORE BUILDING 1300
- Buy books, print cards, parking permits, bus tickets, scantrons/blue booklets, supplies (paper, pens, pencils), snacks, and drinks, and LPC clothing items
- Buy-back books at the end of semesters
- Return books with receipt within two weeks of class start
- Some faculty offices located across from the Bookstore
ENGLISH LAB BUILDING 400
- Students might have an English class in this building
MATH LAB BUILDING 500
- Students might have a math class in this building
- Students can get help with math homework, Math X classes
- The Elite Coffee Cart is located in this area walkway
COUNSELING OFFICE BUILDING 700
- Drop-in: Speak with a counselor about assessment results, scheduling classes, prerequisite challenges, and general info. (Includes career planning and personal counseling)
- Appointments: Student Ed. Plans, TAA’s, graduation application, IGETC cert., Veteran’s evaluations, International student help
- Pick up assessment results
ADMISSIONS AND RECORDS BUILDING 700
- Add and drop classes, register, Withdrawals, transcripts, student ID cards
COMPUTER LAB/THEATER BUILDING 800
- Students have access to a number of computers with a variety of programs. They can write reports, print out their work, and help is available at the front desk. Must have a print card to print work.
- Also in this building is the Theatre, Horticulture, and in the back is Automotive Tech and Welding.
- Drama/music classes and college productions performed here
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER BUILDING 1800
- Most of the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geology classes held in this building, as well as the labs that accompany those classes.
LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER BUILDING 2000
- AKA the Library- They can get help with research, print papers using print card, surf the Internet, and use the private study lounges.
STUDENT CENTER/CAFETERIA BUILDING 1700
- Cafeteria provided by Elite Catering. They now have an ATM/credit card machine for payment.
- Student Government is in room 1709
- Restrooms in the little dining area
- Video games in the back of the little dining area
- Health Center is in Room 1701- free and confidential health care (limited): some Rx, medical treatment for minor injuries, birth control information, FREE condoms, immunizations, pregnancy, HIV. COVERED BY STUDENT HEALTH FEE OF $13.

Most full-time instructors have an office in here, in 1300, or PE Building; part-time faculty have shared offices- check with a LPC division staff for the locations, as they change from semester.
